Just pedal
By Pablo Pantoja
My personal and professional journey can be narrated through the bikes that have accompanied me along the way. My story with “the machine of dreams” began with that first white BMX bicycle, where I discovered freedom to go wherever I wanted. Cycling has always been more than just a sport for me; it’s a way to connect with nature and find moments of introspection amid the daily hustle.

Throughout my journey, I’ve enjoyed two types of cycling: mountain biking and road biking. Both have taught me the value of pedaling not for recognition, but for the pure joy and peace that this simple act brings. The mountain trails among the landscapes of Cauca, Cundinamarca, and the roads winding through Antioquia have been the perfect backdrop for this personal journey.

My professional experience as an engineer and my more than a decade of collaboration with German companies have underscored the importance of building meaningful connections while welcoming colleagues in Colombia and highlighting the significance of sharing our country with people from all over.

Being part of Andes Domestique represents the opportunity to share with others the wonderful experience of cycling in a region with three mountain ranges, multiple rivers, deserts, canyons, beaches, and high altitudes. Here, we invite explorers who, like many of us, seek to break the monotony, reconnect with nature, and find a sense of community. We believe that on two wheels, you can discover unmatched landscapes and connect with kind, joyful, and friendly people. I invite you to join us and experience the freedom and connection that biking through Colombia can offer.
