It all started with my hero’s example

My love for cycling was born thanks to my dad, a great athlete, who taught me that sports are health and self-love.

My journey with the bike started when I was 14 years old. I began accompanying my dad on his rides with his friends (who were already much older, haha!). These were long rides, but I really enjoyed them, especially because I had my hero by my side.

Throughout my life, I’ve always tried to stay active, but the bike holds a special place in both my mind and body. Every ride is a new experience, a different route, and new kilometers to conquer.

In Valle del Cauca and Cali, where I’m from, I got to enjoy beautiful landscapes and long roads, with the heat and sugarcane fields accompanying me for many years. Today, 20 years later, I find myself in one of the most beautiful zones in my country: Antioquia. Here, everything is filled with nature and mountains. I went from living in a flat area to being surrounded by kilometers and kilometers of uphill terrain.
My bike and I have faced many challenges, and this year, one of the biggest will be the Alto de Letras and returning to my home department to ride old roads.

Thanks to Andes Domestique for making me part of this wonderful project and giving me the opportunity to show the world how magical Colombia is.
