Day 1: Majesty of the Bodies of Water

Distance: 120 km. Elevation: 2377 m.
Begin your cycling adventure in Colombia with a visit to one of Antioquia’s hidden gems, where the breathtaking majesty of its bodies of water awaits. Rich in biodiversity, home to both wild and endemic species within lush forests, this region plays a key role in Colombia’s economy by contributing 20% of the country’s total energy. Prepare for an immersive experience in a vibrant ecosystem, ideal for those seeking adventure and nature.

Day 2: Magical Realism at the Rio Nare Reservoir

Distance: 71 km. Elevation: 2012 m.
Welcome to a place of magical realism, reminiscent of the stories told by Gabriel García Márquez. At the Rio Nare Reservoir, you will discover a “village in the mountains with a piece of the sea in its heart.” Built in 1970, this water vista spans over 6,240 hectares, transforming the landscape. Enjoy the cheerful aesthetics, colorful houses, and artistic zócalos that tell stories of Antioquian identity— a perfect backdrop for an astonishing cycling tour.

Day 3: The Cradle of Artisan Ceramic

Distance: 80 km. Elevation: 1500 m.
On day three, after traveling 50 km we will arrive at the Cradle of Artisan Ceramic, where tradition infuses every handcrafted piece. Learn about the meticulous craftsmanship passed down through generations and enjoy coffee served in unique ceramic vessels, creating unforgettable memories. Once we finish the 80 km and the 1500 m of elevation gain, we will engage with the local culture on a coffee tour and enjoy a traditional paisa lunch, all complementing your remarkable cycling in Colombia journey.

Day 4: Cradle of Freedom

Distance: 89 km. Elevation: 1320 m.
Our cycling tour ends at the Cradle of Freedom, a site rich in history where the first group of slaves was liberated in Colombia. Discover how a passion for cycling fostered the craft brewing business, along with the unique bicycles manufacturing. Admire the traditional woodwork bringing the vibrant streets of one of Antioquia’s most visited municipalities to life.
