On June 7 you will take part in Ruta Medellín, one of Colombia’s most recognized amateur road cycling events. The race starts at EPM Building in Medellín and heads into the mountains toward Belmira, passing San Cristóbal, San Félix and San Pedro de los Milagros before returning to the city.

This demanding route combines epic landscapes, strong cycling culture and professional organization, making it one of the most exciting road cycling experiences in Antioquia. Our Medellín Race Weekend prepares you for the challenge with an adaptation ride to Santa Elena before lining up at the start.

Stage 1 : Santa Elena Adaptation Ride

Distance: 76 km. Elevation: 1406 m.

A ride through the highlands above Medellín. The climb to Santa Elena blends steady effort with beautiful mountain scenery, riding through pine forests and rural landscapes that define the eastern hills of the Aburrá Valley. The descent toward Guarne brings smooth curves and open views, a perfect balance of challenge and flow as you prepare your legs for race day.

Stage 2: Ruta Medellín Cycling Race Day

Official participation in Ruta Medellín 2026. This annual race organized by Team Medellín is the most important road event in the city and a unique opportunity to experience its vibrant cycling culture. Your race entry fee is already included in the total package price, which means your spot is secured and you can simply focus on enjoying the ride while we take care of every detail throughout your stay.
