RUTA MEDELLIN CYCLING RACE DAY - June 7th 2026

Start your tour on Thursday June 4 and your third stage becomes Ruta Medellín 2026 on June 7, the signature road race organized by Team Medellín, a UCI Continental Team. Your entry fee is already included in the package, securing your spot and giving you a seamless way to experience Medellín’s cycling culture without worrying about logistics.

Stage 1: Medellín Cycling Route: Eastern Antioquia Start

Distance: 76 km. Elevation: 1446 m.

A perfect start through Medellín’s favorite training roads in Eastern Antioquia. Pedal through routes loved by local riders and set the rhythm for the days ahead. The ride connects blending rolling climbs, fresh mountain air and the vibrant energy that defines Antioquia’s cycling culture. It’s the ideal warm-up before the long stages that follow toward Colombia’s Coffee Region.

Stage 2: Santa Elena Highlands and the Flower Roads of Medellín

Distance: 76 km. Elevation: 1406 m.

A ride through Medellín’s highlands and the land of flowers. The climb to Santa Elena blends effort and beauty, surrounded by pine forests and farms that grow the blooms used in Medellín’s Feria de las Flores (Flower Festival). The descent toward Guarne brings smooth curves and mountain views, a perfect mix of challenge, flow, and culture on two wheels.

Stage 3: Guatapé Cycling Route through Eastern Antioquia

Distance: 85 km. Elevation: 1378 m.

Ride from El Retiro through La Ceja and El Carmen de Viboral toward Guatapé, one of Colombia’s most colorful and iconic towns. The route winds through green highlands, peaceful backroads and small rural communities that reflect the charm of Antioquia’s countryside. End the ride with lunch and time to explore Guatapé’s cobbled streets and the views of its vast reservoir before returning to Medellín by private transfer.

Stage 3 only for June 7th: Ruta Medellín Cycling Race Day

By selecting Thursday June 4 as the start date of this tour, the third stage becomes your official participation in Ruta Medellín 2026. This annual race organized by Team Medellín is the most important road event in the city and a unique opportunity to experience its vibrant cycling culture. Your race entry fee is already included in the total package price, which means your spot is secured and you can simply focus on enjoying the ride while we take care of every detail throughout your stay.
