What is the weather like?

We could have temperatures from 14°C (58°F) to 31°C (87°F). Consider Clothing for Autum/Fall weather. Remember essential accessories for riding: shoes, pedals, saddle, sunglasses, and helmet (indispensable). Don´t forget a rain jacket and/or shoe covers for unexpected showers.

Our 4- to 7-day tours are designed for enthusiastic cyclists looking for a challenging experience, with daily rides ranging from 4 to 6 hours. That said, you don’t need to be an experienced cyclist to enjoy an experience with us.
We also offer day trips and experiences tailored to a recreational level, combining adventure and enjoyment with a manageable physical effort, especially on shorter routes or when riding e-bikes.
Our team adapts each experience to your fitness level, pace, and goals, so you can ride with confidence and peace of mind. Before the tour, we take the time to understand your experience and expectations in order to recommend the option that best suits you.

Absolutely! The violence that once troubled Colombia is now confined to a few remote areas, far from our routes. Instead, you’ll experience the genuine warmth and hospitality of Colombians, who are eager to welcome visitors and learn about their journeys.

Definitely safe! Cycling is the second most popular sport in Colombia, and this is reflected in the respectful and accommodating behavior of local drivers toward cyclists. Furthermore, our routes are designed to prioritize quieter secondary roads with minimal traffic.

The Colombian Peso (COP) is the country’s official currency and the primary form of payment. While some places may accept U.S. dollars, we recommend exchanging your currency at banks or official exchange offices.
Our tours have prices published in U.S. dollars (USD) as a reference. However, payments are processed in Colombian Pesos (COP) through a secure electronic payment system. The final amount charged will depend on the exchange rate applied by your card-issuing bank at the time of the transaction.

Most international visitors do not need a visa for tourism stays under three months. Ensure your passport is valid and consult the visa requirements for your country via this link: www.cancilleria.gov.co 

No vaccinations are necessary for the areas on our tours. However, if you plan to explore regions like the Amazon, a yellow fever vaccination is required. Share your travel plans with us for tailored advice.

Travel light! Alongside your cycling gear, pack comfortable and casual attire suitable for the relaxed atmosphere of the small towns we’ll visit. A small backpack for storing jeans, t-shirts, and comfortable shoes is recommended.

Rain can occur during certain months, typically in the afternoons or evenings. Our rides are scheduled for the morning, minimizing any impact from the weather. You won’t freeze while cycling in Colombia.

Colombia’s landscape, nestled in the Andes, offers mountains with long climbs and descents. The freshly paved roads ensure a smooth cycling experience.

Bringing your bike guarantees it suits your preferences, but ensure a professional mechanic inspects it beforehand. We consider it’s the best option for one-week tours. If you are considering some of our Day trips, we can  also provide high-quality rental bikes, helmets and pedals.
